Stoughton Opioid Settlements
As a result of a number of opioid settlements, the Town of Stoughton is receiving money to address the ongoing impact of the opioid epidemic. The MA Attorney General’s Office and the MA Department of Public Health have put together a number of resources for communities receiving these dollars. Get more info HERE.
Stoughton passed 2 articles at Town Meeting in the Spring of 2023 to create a stabilization account for incoming opioid settlement dollars. To read the back up information submitted with the Town Meeting Warrant, click here.
Community Input
Summer 2023
The Prevention Department is seeking your input into the best local use for these dollars.
We have launched an anonymous survey in month of August 2023 to continue to collect community input and ideas. If you would like to participate in the survey, please click here.
The Department is hosted two input sessions in July: A ZOOM meeting at 7pm on Tuesday July 18 and an in person meeting on Wednesday July 26 at 7pm at 15 Pleasant Street (Rec. Building).
If were unable to attend either meeting and would like to provide input, please email Stephanie Patton at spatton@stoughton-ma.gov
