Why the Stoughton Conversations Project?

Providing opportunities to share our Hopes and Concerns for Stoughton is key component to positive community development and building strong community leaders. These are core elements in our strategy to support Stoughton youth and families and build community connections.

What is the Stoughton Conversations Project?

This project was developed as a follow up to the recent Science of the Positive Leadership Institute, with Dr. Jeff Linkenbach, hosted by the OASIS Coalition. Participants recommended developing a regular opportunity for individuals involved in Stoughton (Town employees, members of local boards & commissions, passionate community members, etc.) to come together and discuss a topic of local importance.
The conversations will use Dr. Linkenbach’s Science of the Positive and Hope and Concern frameworks to guide the discussion.

The first Stoughton Conversation was held on November 8, 2017. The topic: Hopes and Concerns About the Role of Social Media in Local Issues
