OASIS is collaborating with the Stoughton Public Schools on the implementation of the SBIRT screening tool.

SBIRT stands for Screening, Brief Intervention, Referral to Treatment.  It is a very short confidential health screen developed to identify and help youth who may be struggling with drug and alcohol issues as well as to prevent youth from using in the first place.  This is a research based best practice that Stoughton is implementing in the 10th grade during the 2016/2017 school year. This model is being required of all School Districts in MA as part of the MA Opiate Prevention Bill.
